The third meeting of the Canon Owners of the Bay Area (COBA) user group will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2002 at the Bechtel International Center at Stanford University from 7:45-11:00 pm.
We have two presentations on hand for the meeting:

Eric Cheng is currently photographing marine life in Kona, Hawaii, with acclaimed marine photographer, Jim Watt.
Sports photography
Mike Doran is the chief photographer at the Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey, California.
Miscellany
Stanford is great venue for night photography. Be sure to bring your tripod so you can take some lovely pictures of campus following the meeting’s conclusion.
There are a number of on-campus eateries which will be open before and after the COBA meeting to quench your culinary thirsts.
We will vote on the date of the next COBA meeting. May 15 or May 22 are currently available. We will also discuss topics and solicit volunteers for the next meeting.
Fees
We will be requesting a small donation (~$2.00) to cover the costs of renting the assembly room at Bechtel for the evening.
