COBA Future Workshop
The October meeting of the Camera Owners of the Bay Area (COBA) user group will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2003 at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC) from 7:30-10:30 pm. The planned portion of the meeting will begin at 7:45 pm.
COBA Future Workshop
COBA has been running for nearly two years. I hope everyone has enjoyed the numerous presentations we’ve had on photographic technique and equipment over the past 17 meetings. The October 2003 meeting will provide an opportunity for COBA members to shape the user group’s future direction. It doesn’t matter if you are attending COBA for the first time or have been coming since the beginning, we want to hear your input on how to improve COBA!
The meeting will be separated into four fun sections aimed at stirring your creative juices, collecting and filtering your ideas, presenting the best ones to the group. The improvements and processes you come up will be incorporated into and help drive future COBA meetings.
Come to the meeting with ideas on how you’d like to improve COBA, including:
- Organizing group outings
- Hearing professional photographers speak about their work
- Reviewing camera equipment and accessories
- Selling your photographs
- Honing your photographic skills
- Improving the COBA web site
- Getting started with photography
Though you all have different backgrounds and experiences, you all share a love for photography. No idea will be discounted, so bring your wildest ones on Wednesday!
