The February 2004 meeting of the Camera Owners of the Bay Area (COBA) user group will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2003 at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC) from 7:30-10:30 pm.

Lighting Workshop
Bring your lighting gear to this week’s COBA meeting! With member help, we’re going to learn firsthand how to set up and use external flashes, umbrellas, flash meters, diffusers and more. I’ve compiled a list of the equipment that we currently have and need:
What we have:
- Umbrellas (30 and 45 inch)
- Lightstands (2)
- Flashes (550EX, 420EX, ST-E2 Transmitter)
- Reflectors (silver and gold)
- Diffusers (Lumi-Quest MidiBouncer)
- Stools
- Tungsten lamps (2)
- Gray cards, white cards
What we need more of:
- Diffusers (different brands like Stoffen OmniBounce)
- Lightstands
- Umbrellas
- Reflectors (different colors)
- Flashes
What we need:
- Softboxes
- Flash Meters
- Backdrops
- Large foam core boards
If you have any of these items, please bring them to the meeting! If we have enough equipment, we have multiple areas set aside for different lighting demonstrations.
