Konica Minolta and Image Tanks

The January 2005 meeting of the Camera Owners of the Bay Area (COBA) user group will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC) from 7:30-10:30 pm.

Konica Minolta Presentation

David Rhodes from Konica Minolta will demonstrate the Maxxum 7D Digital Camera, the first digital SLR camera featuring a body-integral Anti-Shake system. The Maxxum 7D transforms any compatible lens into an image stablized lens, allowing a photographer to take handheld shots up to three stops slower in shutter speed without camera blur!

Image Tank Presentation

Are you going away for a long photography trip and thinking of leaving the laptop behind? If so, you might want to get an image storage device! We will review the Epson P-2000, a newcomer to the marketplace that has been receiving many positive reviews. COBA Members who have other image tank devices (i.e. X-Drive, iPod Photo, etc.) are encouraged to bring theirs to the meeting.
